Learning Outcomes (short)
The course is aimed at students who intend to acquire knowledge to develop measurement systems and data analysis algorithms to be adopted in general applications (robotics, test benches, sensor data acquisition).
In a first part methods used in modern data acquisition systems will be described with a special focus on hardware and electronics.
The second part will focus on the data analysis side of a measurement process. The aim is to learn how to get the information hidden inside the data, even in presence of noise, using statistical and computing methods.
